The Help Restore Hope Center provides 600-800+ individuals annually in Madison and Chenango Counties with a variety of comprehensive residential and non-residential services that are free and confidential. About 3,000-6,000 hotline calls are received each year. All services are accessed through the program hotline.
The 9-bed safe dwelling is licensed by New York State Office of Children and Family Services for domestic violence survivors emergency shelter. It is restricted to individuals that meet criteria and intake is based upon individual needs, current census and configeration. Safety planning and other housing is always available for those that are not a good fit for dwelling. The safe dwelling is located at a confidential site. Around 50 individuals and families are housed in the safe dwelling each year with an average stay of 60 days.
